WAR AGAINST THE SPIRIT OF POVERTY DR D.K OLUKOYA

Some of the toughest foundational problems are problems that are rooted in satanic dreams.  Dreams are revelation from ALMIGHTY GOD, dreams are spiritual monitor which God communicates to us what is happening to our spiritual and physical life.  Not all dreams originate from God, there are divine dreams and satanic dreams.  Unknown to many people today, dreams have been used to initiate multitudes into poverty.

Poverty is one of the most wicked weapons used by the enemy to harass millions of people all over the world.  Poverty is a curse while prosperity is a blessing. Poverty is a spirit of satanic emissary on evil assignment to kill, to steal and to destroy.

When the spirit of poverty is at work, a lot of things would go wrong. The devil makes use of the spirit of poverty to subject multitudes to deplorable existence. Dreams are major tools through which he achieves this.

 

Evidence Of Poverty Dreams

 1.    Dreams in which a person spends money lavishly, like pasting money on the foreheads of women dancing on the streets or at parties

2.    Dreams of finding yourself buying things in the market after receiving some money.

3.    When you dream of walking about barefooted, wearing rags or tattered shoes, or you see yourself as a beggar.

4.    If you are a trader and you see yourself in the dream having your wares unsold after putting them out for sale.

5.    If you dream that your properties are being auctioned in your presence.

6.    If you dream and see your pocket leaking, or somebody stole some money from you or you lost some money and after looking for it, you never found it before you woke up.

7.    If you have ever dreamt that rats are running around your house, whether big or small ones.

8.    If you dream of your purse being stolen or you find yourself with counterfeit money.

If any of these is happening in your life, then your dreams call for serious spiritual warfare.  The devil goes around with the spirit of poverty because he wants people to serve him.  He knows that when people are poor and they do not have sufficient money, they will go and serve evil spirits just to get money.  The devil does not have any free gift, He operates a primitive trade-by-barter system.

Anything that is existing in the physical can be blocked or hindered in the spiritual realm, nothing can happen in the physical if it has not been decided in the spiritual.  It is possible that the totality of the money a person will make in his lifetime can be spiritually removed on the day that he or she was born.  The spirit of poverty will stay in such a life and begin to operate therein, even if it does not manifest immediately, it will certainly manifest later.

 

Signs That Shows The Spirit Of Poverty Is At Work

1.    When someone has sufficient income and is still having problems financially.

2.    Inability to keep a regular job.

3.    Inability to eat the normal food others are eating.

4.    Inability to control child-bearing and thereby sending the children to bad/substandard schools.

5.    When you are always being duped or regularly attacked by thieves.

6.    When you are surrounded all over by poverty stricken relatives and you are their only benefactor.

7.    Debt.

8.    Gambling.

9.    patronising prostitutes.

10.  Health problems which requires a lot of money.

11.   When you keep registering for the same examination again and again without success.

12.   If you lack promotion and your properties are frequently destroyed.

When all these things are happening then you must learn the art of aggressive praying.  However, instead of praying, a lot of people blame several other things and leave the actual agent.

 

Causes Of Poverty

·        Curse (Galatians 3:13-14).

·       Evil diversion of destinies & potentials.

·       Stinginess (Proverbs 11:24-25)

·       Lovers of sleep and slumber (Proverbs 20:13).

·       Following vain person (Proverbs 28:19).

·       Laziness (Proverbs 10:4).

·       Mocking the poor (Proverbs 17:5).

·       Unfaithful in tithes and offering (Malachi 3:8-12).

·       Not contributing to God’s work (Haggai 1:6-8).

·       Giving to God in small measure (Luke 6:38).

·       Engaging in wrong business (Luke 5:1-10).

·       Not giving to the poor (Proverbs 28:27).


Way out:

1.    You need to surrender life to Jesus.

2.    You need to repent and confess all known sins, and the sins of your ancestors.

3.    You need to attack the spirit of poverty

4.    You need to repossess what the spirit of poverty has stolen from you.

5.    You need to barricade your life so that this spirit does not trouble your destiny anymore.

                  

                  Prayer-Points

Confession:

Deut. 8:18: But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that

giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

Before you pray these prayer points, go into a period of praise and thanksgiving.

1. Witchcraft-sponsored poverty, die, in the name of Jesus.

2. Altars of poverty in my place of birth working against my prosperity, burn to ashes, in the name of Jesus.

3. Satanic priests, ministering against my prosperity in any evil altar, die by fire, in the name of Jesus.

4. Every strength and power of environmental-altar upon my life, wither, in the name of Jesus.

5. Today, I raise up the altar of continuous prosperity upon my destiny, in the name of Jesus.

6. Every stronghold of mental and spiritual poverty in my life, be uprooted by fire, in the name of Jesus.

7. Any covenant in my life that is strengthening the stronghold of poverty, break, in the name of Jesus.

8. Every stronghold of poverty, in the place where I am living now, and in my place of work; I pull you down, in the name of Jesus.

9. O Lord, create opportunities for my prosperity today.

10. I bind and I cast out, every negative word enforcing poverty into my life, in the name of Jesus.

11. Spirit of stinginess: disappear from my life, in Jesus name.

12. I bind and I cast out, the spirit of disobedience in, the name of Jesus.

13. Where other people are spending money, I refuse to spend bold-face, in the name of Jesus.

14. Evil machineries working against my prosperity be destroyed, in the name of Jesus.

15. I destroy by fire, every weapon of poverty, targeted against my life, in the name of Jesus.

16. Every descendant of poverty in my life, fall down and die, in the name of Jesus.

17. Every evil power, sitting on my prosperity, somersault and die, in the name of Jesus

18. I break every caldron of poverty in my life, in Jesus name.

19. You stronghold of poverty, receive the fire of God, in Jesus name.

20. I break off from inherited poverty, in the name of Jesus.

21. Every stigma of poverty in my life, be robbed-off, by the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.

22. Every adjustment to humiliate me, I rebel against you, in the name of Jesus.

23. Every power adjusting my life into poverty, fall down and die, in the name of Jesus.

24. I shall not adjust into poverty, in the name of Jesus.

25. Holy Spirit, adjust my life into prosperity, in Jesus name.

26. You network chains of failures rattling my life, melt by fire, in the name of Jesus.

27. Anchors of failures keeping my destiny, break, in Jesus name.

28. Spiritual chains of slavery upon my life, break by fire, in Jesus name.

29. Every chain of inherited failures upon my life, break by fire, in the name of Jesus.

30. Let every evil seed of generational poverty, dry up, in Jesus name.

31. I command the stronghold of inherited poverty, in my life, to be pulled down by the blood of Jesus.

32. Holy Ghost, arrest on my behalf tonight, every spirit of poverty, in the name of Jesus.

33. I dismantle every demonic opposition to my prosperity, in the name of Jesus.

34. Every satanic river of poverty and failure, clear off by fire, in the name of Jesus.

35. Altars of poverty prepared by my ancestors, break, in Jesus' name.

36. Every witchcraft assembly in my neighbourhood, be scattered by Holy Ghost fire, in the name of Jesus.

37. Let the stubborn strongman of poverty in my place of birth (mention the place), be paralysed by fire, in Jesus name.

38. Territorial spirits working against my prosperity, be chained, in the name of Jesus.

39. Every covenant made at my birth and in my place of birth, break, in the name of Jesus.

40. Every witchcraft covenant of poverty, affecting my prosperity, break, in the name of Jesus.
